At one stage, we had a horse, three dogs, two cats, a rabbit and two guineapigs. That was when the kids were young.
One of our guineapigs was a serial killer (as well as a cereal killer). We had to replace his partner several times. And I thought they were cute and harmless!
More recently, we've lost several beloved friends. Our black labrador died a couple of years ago, and is still sorely missed. We still have our yellow lab. Of our three rescue cats, the eldest died at a very advanced age, the second was run over and left to die
, and the third is still with us.
So we brought home a pair of sibling kittens from the local shelter.
