I sent email and received the promised gift card two days later. I started reading "Red Chaser" last night. So far I like it.

I think this is an interesting way to market a first novel. Jon has said my email address will only be used to let me know when the sequel is available. I have no reason to doubt him. I am somewhat surprised by the hostility some have shown towards in this thread. But then I have good spam filters and so see virtually no spam email.

Anyway back to reading.
