One of the advantages of the iPad is that you don't have to repurchase the apps you may have had on your iPhone or iPod Touch. The iPad can run the current apps. They didn't flat out say that Android apps will not be compatible but I get the impression that it's likely the case since Chrome is a different OS. I hope it isn't since there's already a nice body of work in the Android market. People won't buy it without a wide variety of apps in place.
