Good to have your company, Phil. Good luck with the Kindle, but I have a feeling you might be disappointed that most libraries appear to lend DRM-locked PDF and ePub books that can't be converted to Mobi using Calibre and the like. Without stripping the DRM (a messy lock-picking job and only border-line legal) you can't use them on a Kindle, which is a Mobi format only device. Best wishes. Neil
