well, that's direct - and a bit sarcastic. one can have a personal touch and enthusiasm without that level of detail.

i work with web marketing for a living. my clients have all found that being more personal works much better (in other words, gets more return traffic/ more buys/ more word of mouth) when working with consumers as opposed to working with other businesses.
