When you say:
"6a. Create an empty directory called tmp in PRS505 root dir. (For me, process has occasionally failed without it.)"
Do you mean to add a folder called "tmp" in the internal memory of the prs.
Sorry to seem thick but this is an expensive pice of kit and I've already bricked it three times trying differnt combinations.
