I agree it's a long shot, and assume the answer is "no warranties", but it would be nice to know one way or the other. The next question would be what about repairs on a cost basis? Again, they specifically mentioned the status of that for the iLiad and DR1000, but did not specify the DR800.
I was just curious if yacoob had seen such information, or was making an assumption.

My employer did have similar cases with suppliers under chapter 11 and their legal successors.
As a layman concerning legal issues, based on the cases I saw, I'd say:
If they really support iRex 800, they have to do so for the other products as well. They can't just choose some products to support and others to forget about. If they support a single product, they are legal successor for the whole entity.
And even if they don't support iRex 800, I don't think it's that easy for them to declare no liability for the former products.
If it's the same people, basically the same area of expertise and most likely even lots of former R&D results, again they are legal successor.
May be different for the Netherlands (although I'd be surprised, should be the same within the EU), but in Germany I've seen this quite a few times with some of our suppliers.
In Germany, "Betriebsuebergang § 613a BGB" may be appiclable.
This basically (in my layman's understanding) says: Same people, same area of products, maybe even same residence = legal successor.
This very often happens in outsourcing projects, for example: Company A replacing their internal resources by outsourcer B. The former employees of A can insist on being hired by B (even if this means higher costs or firing people from B's original pool) because it's the same job.
BTW: As long as iRex did exist, I've made a spectacular experience with their support. They did replace the display of my iLiad AFTER warranty had expired - for free!
