Probably, you won't save a lot on content, but in terms of justifying your purchase to the boss, there are other benefits:
- lots of worthy, classic books are free, so it encourages you to educate yourself
- it's better on your eyes than other gadgets - and you can't put a price on health, right?
- while you're reading, you'll be very quiet
- if you get a K3, it's less than a quarter of the price of an iPad, which you would otherwise need
