I'm with Sandra on this one - I don't want to rush through a book. I read fast enough that, sometimes, I consciously make myself slow down so I can savor the experience more.

However, with e-readers, there is a tip to help speed up page turns so you aren't [mentally] dancing with impatience to get to the next page. Turn a few lines before the end of the page on your screen and then you're right at the top.

For my 5" screen, I've learned to hit the page turn button at about three lines from the bottom. So, once I hit the button, I finish reading that page just as the page turns.

That's not really a speed-reading tip, I know - but it sure does help you stay with the story flow.
