I use my cover as an easel type stand, folding the left piece back for a base and the right for the angled support. It forms a really nice a nice angled stand and I use my Augen landscape with NO hands. It's easy to touch the page turn button at the top.
I don't find anything strange about where they place the buttons. The page turns are in the same place as my husband's Nook.
