I don't know...
Of course, many of us who are losing our close-up vision are a little sensitive about it, but I have readily admitted in many public places that the best thing about an e-reader is that I can
make the font as big and bold as I like. It's just so much easier to read that way, rather than squinting at some tiny type on newsprint.
I don't really think it would hurt manufacturers to advertise "easier reading" as a feature.
