The hit-and-runners don't bother me as much as the ones that stick around and try to game unrelated threads. What I really don't get is how many haven't done their homework or devised a marketing strategy. If you're going to sell a book, then you need to think of it as a product in a business, you need to target your writing to an audience, you need to do what the publishers do (spit) and look at what's selling and what isn't and what you can write and what you cannot.
You can have freedom or money, but never both.
