Adobe Lockups
I got this error when trying to access the Sony Reader Store:

"Sorry, we are not able to activate your device, you have reached the maximum number of allowed activations. Error Code (2023)"

I had to contact Sony customer support and they unlocked Adobe for me. Now it works fine.

I wonder if anyone else encountered this problem?
