, That's more or less the way my sister dealt with her first nephew/my first son some years ago. As she will be around this weekend I'm really looking forward to see how she "behaves" confronted with my second son who just started crawling around.
To be frank: The first few weeks everyone waits for the firmware updates, parents included. But when the little one begins to react to his surroundings he'll throw you for sure. And you are always welcome to speak
to him without pseudo-baby-babbling at him (leave that to others).
