When the XO laptops are imported for the Give 1 Get 1, the distribution will be handled by Brightstar, an OLPC corporate sponsors.
Apparently, Brightstar is a specialist in customized distribution. Brightstar provides such sales and distribution services today to the wireless and consumer electronics industries, serving customers via a vast network of sales, distribution and manufacturing facilities in 49 countries on six continents. One out of every 20 wireless phones in the world is delivered via Brightstar's distribution network.
It looks like Brightstar will handle most if not all of the OLPC distribution. The nation of Uruguay is starting a 1:1 project based on the XO model, but they actually hired Brightstar to distribute and maintain the computers.

You know, it looks like Brightstar will have a very good return on its $2 million investment in OLPC.
