I have been using an iPad since the day it came, and the trusty 505 has been gathering dust. However I have ordered a K3, because the Kindle app on the iPad and the K3 will stay in sync, and the K3 has got to the point where (for me) it is cheap enough to justify its specific purpose - reading on the beach or by the pool! In the meantime, the iPad has survived in those situations.
