It's just a personal preference, I prefer epubs. In my experience, the pdb files that I do have, never convert correctly.

Plus, comparing the Windows B&N software to the Mac B&N software (which is basically the Ereader app with a B&N logo stuck on it, there isn't even a sync feature with the website library), the Mac support is totally half-assed. I was planning on buying the nook Wi-fi, but the more research I do, the more it looks like B&N has no interest in supporting Mac.
