For HP to release a WebOS tablet. The pundits can rave about Android all they want, but I'm telling you, a tablet form factor with WebOS and Popelli Reader and/or pReader would make a killer ebook reader (as long as you aren't anti LCD anyway...). Between the two apps it would read nearly everything that wasn't DRM'd plus a couple of DRM formats too. (I still want to know how pReader is getting by with supporting BOTH DRM epub and mobi, plus DRM eReader... maybe I shouldn't have typed that...in case someone sees it and that functionality disappears ) I've got extremely limited experience with WebOS apps, but even after just the couple of hours I spent browsing their app selection this afternoon, I could see a WebOS tablet being a serious contender to the iPad. Plus, it being an "open" platform, new apps are being developed all the time. I found a pretty sweet checkbook application I'd like to have on a bigger screen. At the very least, I'd LOVE a WebOS driven ebook reader, though.
