It's ok. My favorite customers brought me smoked brisket tonight! Let me explain...
A couple of years ago, one of my favorite customers and his daughter were in my line. They were buying brisket, and (me being a native Texan and a brisket lover) of course I commented on it. He said his wife was from Texas too, and so he knew how to make it right and he'd bring me some to test. I'd heard similar before, so I kind of blew it off, thinking they would forget. Lo and behold, though, a few days later, in they walk with a freezer container of brisket! It not only passed my test, I raved about it, so now every time he makes brisket, they bring me some. I made macaroni and cheese and opened a can of baked beans to go with it...and had a plateful of Texas heaven in front of me. There's enough left for a sandwich tomorrow, too
