Talk of a $99 reader isn't about a sale or liquidation; those aren't even news.
Several readers have been hitting $99 on sale since early in the year.
What the press is waiting for is an in-production reader list-priced at $99 permanently.
It *is* going to happen.
It *hasn't* happened yet.

For now, the best candidate is still the as-yet unannounced Jetbook Mini.
Second best candidate is the somewhat vaporish Copia.
Both are LCD-based.
