Regarding the DR800 specifically, I believe the only time a "normal" shutdown is performed is when the device detects that the battery is getting too low and shuts itself down. Is there any other way to cause the device to save last-page-read, bookmarks, other data, etc? I don't see a way from the UI of closing a document, but maybe I'm missing it?

I've tried opening another document, thinking maybe that would close the first one, and then do a reset, but that doesn't seem to work. IE, both documents start back at the beginning.
