It's like Sony and Amazon reversed places in the DRM thing. Last year, the Sony LRX DRM format wasn't removable, and the Amazon one was. I purchased basically all of my books from Amazon, and moved to the Sony as needed. Now, with the new Kindle DRM, and the Sony move to ePub, I can't move books from my Kindle, but can from the Sony, and both stores sell for basically the same (new, higher) price thanks to the monopoly ... sorry, I mean agency ... model.
So, I can get the same content from two (or many) different places for the same price. Given that, I'm more likely to purchase from the place that is either DRM free or at least has DRM that I could remove.
