I have Year of the Flood downloaded and ready to read as soon as I can grab some recreational reading time, Florence. Is it as brilliant as others say? Meanwhile, everything's been 'work' reading here, so I won't mention the books I've recently edited -- but some are real crackers, I assure you. There's a blurred dividing line in my job between work and sheer pleasure. Cheers. Neil
