I wear socks in bed almost year round - at least until the temps get over 90 F. My feet are always cold - so sheathing them in warm fuzzy cotton is appreciated by all.
When I am sockless, I always have to have my feet covered by at least a sheet. You can't let the monsters that live under the bed nibble on your toes!
