Derek, you should add "Broken Nook" and some disparaging comment about B&N to your list of devices!
If you reach your wit's end with your broken Nook, I'd buy it off of you. I like to open them up and try to fix them as opposed to sending them in, and the Nook in our house belongs to my son (and he doesn't want me to open his up).
