Well, Doctoral students who are writing a survey should have it vetted by their committee and other professionals in order to make sure that the survey is not biased.

The question about how much to spend on a book makes it clear that this person is from the UK. I know that there are not too many international e-book readers so it is possible that his/her knowledge of e-book readers is limited. I did find it interesting that all the questions about e-book readers used the Sony as the example.

Good luck with the dissertation. I know how difficult they are to write and complete. I was willing to retake comps of it meant not having to finish my dissertation at the half way point. (grins)
