I'm a traditionally published author who has decided to release a thriller (The Suicide Effect) on my own. I've uploaded it to Kindle, but I want to reach a larger audience. Smashwords seems like the next logical choice, but I've been hearing bad things about the formatting and about authors not getting paid. I'd love to know more about the site if you have information.
