I think the answers here will be a little skewed, since most people actually owning a DX did it because they had a need/want for the larger unit. I've had 2 6" readers - Sony PRS-505 and Nook (for two weeks anyway), and once I got the DXG, I've never used the smaller ones again.

I prefer the larger size mainly for two reasons:

1. I enjoy reading larger pages, a la hard cover, vs paperbacks
2. For any computer books, PDFs, etc., there is no contest here

Since I use it almost exclusively at home, I don't worry about the size - just lay it down on a table or chair arm, or in bed.

On the other hand, my wife reads on the Sony still, and loves it, because she likes the paperback size, and portability. She will be getting K3 when it comes out...
