The title isn't really news. People have pointed out elsewhere that some Amazon ebooks are available as "Simultaneous Device Usage: Unlimited". If the author is surprised it's because he didn't research it :-p.

From my POV the real news is that it is now possible to buy ebooks by Cory Doctorow without DRM. Previously it was impossible to recompense him for his free online downloads without making publishers think that you are willing to tolerate DRM'd products. (Or that you want to dispose of chunks of wood pulp ;-)).

The article is also a bit disingenous, in that the language implies Amazon had to be "persuaded" to sell the book without DRM. In the absence of any details, I don't really believe that.
