Indecisive newbie
Hi -
I'm just starting to think about an ebook reader but am indecisive regarding which one would best suit my needs. (My back is getting a bit tired of lugging a lot of hard copy books around!) I drive some 4 hours/day total to work and back so the Kindle's text-to-speech feature appeals, but I had read that some publishers were deliberately disabling this. Also, the whole geo-restriction issue is problematic since I'm a British/European history buff and a lot of the books I would most love to read aren't available in the US market. (I also like to read books in French - limited availability there too.)
