So it's generally true that you'll spend less and get more if you wait. But you can drive yourself nuts doing that. Look for the best deal you can find when you're ready to buy, and then be prepared to see other people getting it for less tomorrow.

Very true rage. I learned long ago to not buy bleeding edge but wait until the smoke had settled and get mid range for half the price. The Kobo is the mid range compromise I made and I don't regret the outlay, even though as you say the board will soon be flooded with people who bought it for less than I did.
