This is the thing about electronics in the modern world. The price drops over time, which is different from what we have come to expect with inflation.

So it's generally true that you'll spend less and get more if you wait. But you can drive yourself nuts doing that. Look for the best deal you can find when you're ready to buy, and then be prepared to see other people getting it for less tomorrow.
