Well, there is a mac alternative of sorts. There is a company, Axiotron, that mods MacBooks into tablets. They call them ModBooks (
http://axiotron.com/), but I don't have any personal experience with them. I will say that they offer a one-year warranty (with an option for two), but when they start at $2300, they better give you some kind of warranty! Caveat emptor.
