Although this claim is posted all over the Internet, I was reading eBooks on my Palm PDAs long before the new, cool, eReaders came out. I usually set it up for either cyan or yellow text on a black background. And I suffered no eye strain nor other ill effects from doing so.

Others here with more experience in what you need will; reply soon, I am sure. Fo screen glare and protection from scratches, I recommend ANYONE to purchase an InvisibleShield screen protector from Zagg.com. Lifetime warranty on the product - I cannot find a better screen protector anywhere (NuShield comes close).
