As far as I can tell, the software is working on Windows 7 64-bit... but it simply does not recognize my nook. Your device is a Sony, maybe that's the difference? However, the instructions don't specify that it has to be a Sony device to be recognized.
At any rate, purchasing the book went well enough, but it's annoying to have to open a different software to transfer it to my reader when it appears that the Sony software should be able to do this.
They'd make life much easier if you could just sign into the store via the web and download via Adobe Digital Editions like other places do as opposed to making someone install extra software just to access their particular store. That's just not consumer friendly in my book and I bet it turns a lot of people off who then go buy elsewhere.
However, I'll still use the software to get the occasional free book, so I suppose I'm not that sorry I downloaded and installed it. And transferring via ADE works just fine.
