I never used the jog dial on my Clie, so I don't miss it on my ipaq either. If I'd got into the habit of using it, things might be different.

Personnaly, I'm still hanging out for a VGA device, so my next purchase will probably be around middle of next year I think, when they've had time to drop in price a little
