The color screen on TB is not an issue while reading- in fact, if you are just using it as a reader, the only things that turn up in color are covers for books that come with that feature. At first I thought the color feature fairly useless, but after fiddling, (notes in other ebooks sub forum) it is actually very nice to load snapshots. I have pictures of all the different members of my family reading
along with my cats and a couple of sunsets. The color quality is actually reasonable too. Just make sure any picture files you upload are under 1MB.
I can read for hours on TB, and less than an hour on my netbook. The matte screen on TB makes a difference.
