My old cat (now an angel cat) knew what suitcases were. When I had one open to pack, he'd "pack" himself - usually by wriggling under the strap in the lid. It was cute but sad to see. Then, while I was gone, he would always pee in the exact center of the bed! Every time! I finally gave up and started putting a diaper and a plastic garbage bag under the sheet to protect the mattress!
