What gives you the idea that ragged-right text is not readable? You're reading it right now! You read it on forums, blogs, news sites, email, all kinds of things, all the time. Some, though not all, newspapers and magazines set their text ragged-right. Some books, too, for that matter. Like millions of people, I've been reading Project Gutenberg since the days when it was nothing but .txt files, no formatting whatsoever. And I read several books a week on my 505 ... epubs ... ragged right.

Now, if you want to say that some people find perfect-justified text easier to read, you won't get an argument from me; it's quite true. But when you try to claim that ragged-right text is unreadable, you make me question a lot of things, particularly your agenda.
