Well, I read the manual and then I downloaded the "cook book"....That helped a lot......I have 21 pages of pdf books on the kindle already...the main reason I got it was that when I go to conventions, I need to take my reference material with me....The kindle is smaller than my laptop and the battery lasts longer....Now I have become hooked on mobileread.com.....Bob
