It's rare that I won't finish a book - but I'm picky about what I start. Occasionally I'll buy a book that just doesn't grab me ("Rhapsody", by Elizabeth Haydon, I just couldn't get into), but on the whole I only buy books after careful reading of reviews on Amazon, etc.
