I discovered Mobile Read. I discovered Manybooks.net. You know, that's where good planning comes in handy! When we designed our bed (it's completely hand-made by that very handy-with-wood husband of mine, though I painted it [with a little help from my mother, I admit]), we recognized this problem. So, both sides of the bed have 4 power outlets. Three on the floor (you know, for an alarm clock and other things you'll want to keep plugged; nothing there yet but the alarm, but still...) and one on the bed itself, right above the nightstand. And those I can use for my charger when I find out I'm empty in the middle of the night and still want to read without having to use the bed light...
