Not contesting that, but Amazon is no white knight either. Guess how much support they are providing to customers who purchased Adobe pdf ebooks from them before they did their wholesale conversion over to mobi.
Until Amazon gets on board with epub, the Kindle is a non-starter for me. Enjoy your ride though.
