You an easily fix that by reflashing your 300 and installing your own fonts. Info is here:

Start with a font-size of 1.0em and a line-height of 115% and tweak accordingly. The 0.9em/130% listed in the URL above is too small/too widely spaced for my tastes. YMMV.
