The Gore picture is doing the "buddy Jesus" pose. That is awesome. It is a mockery of his Global Warming cult leader status and a comparison with something only a few of us get.
And the Obama avatar is unusual in the sense that not a single member of the 75,000 on this site would ever believe you would use it. Unpredictability is style.
