I'm reading mainly downloaded fanfiction in html at the moment. I've read epubs and fb2s in the past. I don't remember those crashing, but I can't be certain.

That's an interesting thought. I got mine in March and have had problems with ALL firmware versions, including the supposedly very stable 14.2. In the first 3 weeks I had my PB360 it froze and needed the reset button pushed no less than five times. It never rebooted itself, though. That's an issue that started with 15.2.
