The battery life complaint is not an overrated complaint for those of us who have the problem. I am on my second Nook, I exchanged the first Nook because of the battery problem but the second one has the same problem. I wonder if my B&N got a bad batch or something, both of them only give 2 1/5 days of reading before needing a recharge, that is with about 2 hours of reading a day in airplane mode with all of my settings on the lowest. I have to take a bus to and from work and it kind of sucks when my Nook needs charging in the middle of my trip. That said, I do love the features of the Nook and just wish my Nook had the kind of battery life that yours does.
