I meant it as a bit of advice on Communication 101; don't start with antagonising your primary audience if you want them to listen. Telling people directly from the start that they can expect to be pi**** off puts them in an unfavourable mindset from the beginning and they won't listen to another word you say. You could have avoided feeling scolded completely. Maybe scoldings' your thing of course...
