Google Editions / Kindle

I'm very curious whether Amazon and Google will announce an agreement to work together through Google Editions or whether they will slug it out (and likely lose a Kindle sale to me ).

Here's one analysis of the possibilities: http://armdevices.net/2010/07/29/new-kindle-just-139/

Google has announced that they will support Adobe ACS4 DRM (http://books.google.com/support/part...?answer=167975) so one would think that rules the Kindle out. But this article muses that Amazon might do a firmware upgrade and allow Google Editions to provide books that are not available directly from Amazon.

I'm also curious if Google Editions will allow the extensive free previews of books on eReaders that Google Books allows on web browsers. I find this resource to be amazingly useful.
