I'd say a good 8/10 times I'm out and about and have the Kindle out someone walks over to ask what it is. If I wasn't already in a relationship this thing would have been an amazing conversation starter with women.  It's like a puppy that you can read. |
Same here in South Africa - sooo many ppl ask me what it is
It's the same as when the iPhone originally launched - you were actually "embarrassed" to take it out in public, not because it was bad - it is awesome, just because of all the stares and comments
Must say that I love my Kindle though
